Women in India

In 2011, Annie Stebbins, Ellen Reilly, and Jody Peterson (Grif & Casey’s mom) established Women in India, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization created to provide a safe living and teaching environment for the underprivileged young girls of the slums of India.

With their partner in India, TL Reddy, they established a girl’s youth hostel in Hyderabad where the students can live out of harm’s way. They reside in the hostel and are fed three meals a day, learn basic skills of self-care and are educated. Donations cover rent for the home, electricity, water, groceries, tuition, transportation, textbooks, school supplies, uniforms, shoes, medicine, doctor’s fees and salaries for a cook, matron, and laundress.
