For the past year, my mother, along with her friends Annie Stebbins and Ellen Reilly, have been working to establish a 501(c)3 organization to assist a longtime friend, TL Reddy, with his selfless and invaluable work in India. The organization, Women in India, has established a hostel in Hyderabad for underprivileged girls to live and study out of harms way. By nurturing girls in their youth, Women in India hopes to convey the importance of education and community to the next generation of women, hopefully allowing them a more dynamic and self determined life.

It has been an amazing experience watching Women in India evolve over the past year and we are honored and excited to be able to fundraise for them, in addition to the two other wonderful charities we have already raised ~$6,000 for.  Donations are tax-exempt for Americans.
